Using Quote Templates for Repeat Jobs

Save quote configurations as templates and apply them to new quotes for faster quoting on repeat work.

If you regularly quote similar jobs — phone cases, lithophanes, brackets — templates save you from re-entering the same line items every time.

Creating a Template

There are two ways to create a template:

  • From an existing quote — open any quote and click Save as Template. The line items, markup, notes, and terms are saved as a reusable template.
  • From the Templates page — go to Templates in the sidebar and click New Template. Build the template from scratch with your standard line items and settings.

Using a Template

When creating a new quote, select a template from the dropdown at the top of the form. The template's line items, markup, notes, and terms are pre-filled into the new quote. You can then modify anything before saving.

Managing Templates

The Templates page shows all your saved templates with their line item count and last used date. Edit or delete templates as your product offerings change.

Template Ideas

  • "Standard PLA Print" — generic line items for typical PLA jobs
  • "Rush Order (+50%)" — higher markup and expedited delivery terms
  • "Multi-Part Assembly" — multiple line items for assembly projects
  • "Design + Print Package" — design fee + printing + post-processing
