Saving and Using Calculator Presets

Save your favourite printer + material + settings combos as presets for one-click cost calculations.

If you frequently quote jobs with the same printer, material, and overhead settings, presets save you from reconfiguring every time.

Creating a Preset

Configure the calculator with your desired settings — select a printer, material, set your labour rate, overhead, and any other defaults. Then click Save as Preset in the presets bar above the calculator. Give it a descriptive name like "X1C + PLA Standard" or "A1 Mini + PETG Rush".

Loading a Preset

Click any saved preset in the presets bar to instantly load all its settings into the calculator. Then just upload your file or adjust the material weight, and the calculation updates immediately.

Managing Presets

Click the edit icon on any preset to rename or delete it. Presets are saved to your account and available on any device you log into.

Tips

  • Create presets for each printer + material combination you use regularly
  • Include rush job presets with higher labour rates for urgent orders
  • Name presets descriptively — you'll thank yourself when you have 10+
