Sending Quotes to Clients via Email
Email quotes directly from Printforge with a professional template and PDF attachment.
With the Starter plan and above, you can email quotes directly to clients from Printforge — no need to download the PDF and attach it manually.
Sending a Quote
From the quote detail page, click Send via Email. Printforge sends a professional HTML email to the client's address with:
- Your business name and quote number
- A summary of the quote total and expiry date
- The full quote PDF as an attachment
Quote Status
When you send a quote, its status automatically changes from Draft to Sent. This helps you track which quotes are still in draft versus actively being reviewed by clients.
Client Portal
Starter and above plans also include a client portal — a shareable link where clients can view the quote online, accept it, or leave comments. The portal link is included in the email.
Tips
- Double-check the client's email address before sending
- Add a personal note in the quote's notes field — it shows in the email
- Follow up on sent quotes that haven't been accepted within a few days
