Master Backup to OneDrive

Run a full platform backup to OneDrive — all data, quotes, invoices, design files, and job photos.

The Master Backup feature creates a comprehensive backup of your entire Printforge account to OneDrive. Data, documents, and media — everything in one timestamped folder.

What's Backed Up

The backup includes five categories:

  1. Data files — 17 JSON files covering users, quotes, invoices, clients, jobs, printers, materials, suppliers, consumables, settings, and more
  2. Quote PDFs — generated PDFs for all your quotes
  3. Invoice PDFs — generated PDFs for all your invoices
  4. Design files — all files from Design Studio projects
  5. Job photos — all uploaded photos from your jobs

Running a Backup

Go to Settings → Integrations → OneDrive (you must have OneDrive connected first). Click Run Master Backup. A modal shows real-time progress with:

  • Current phase and item being backed up
  • Progress bar and item counter
  • Any warnings (e.g., skipped files) shown inline
  • Final summary of items backed up per category

Backup Structure

The backup creates a timestamped folder in your OneDrive:

Printforge CRM/Backups/2026-03-01T10-30-00Z/
  ├── Data/ (17 JSON files)
  ├── Quotes/ (PDF files)
  ├── Invoices/ (PDF files)
  ├── Design Files/
  ├── Job Photos/
  └── manifest.json

The manifest.json records what was backed up, counts per category, and any errors encountered.

Rate Limiting

Backups can be run once per hour. This prevents accidental overload on the OneDrive API and ensures large backups complete before starting another.
