Print Farm Calendar & Scheduling

Schedule jobs on specific printers using the weekly Gantt-style calendar with drag-to-reschedule.

The print farm calendar gives you a weekly Gantt view of your printer schedule. Each row is a printer, each bar is a job — drag to reschedule, click to edit.

Layout

The calendar shows one week at a time with hourly columns. Each printer in your fleet gets its own row. Jobs assigned to a printer appear as coloured bars spanning their scheduled time. A "now" marker shows the current time.

Scheduling a Job

From the job detail page, assign a printer and set the scheduled start time. The job appears on the calendar. Alternatively, drag an unscheduled job from the sidebar onto a printer row to schedule it.

Rescheduling

Drag any job bar left or right to move it to a different time. Drag it to a different printer row to reassign it. The changes save automatically.

Unscheduled Sidebar

Jobs that haven't been assigned a time appear in the sidebar panel. This is your "to-do" list — drag them onto the calendar when you're ready to schedule them.

Tips

  • Colour-code your printers in the library for easier visual identification
  • Use the calendar alongside the kanban board — the calendar shows when, the kanban shows what stage
  • Check the calendar before committing to deadlines with clients
