Creating Your Account & First Login
How to sign up, verify your email, and navigate the dashboard for the first time.
Setting up your Printforge account takes less than a minute. Here's how to get started.
Visit the registration page and enter your name, email address, and a password (minimum 8 characters, with at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number). You can optionally add your business name — this will appear on your quotes and invoices later.
Alternatively, you can sign up using your Microsoft account for one-click registration.
Email Verification
After registering, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link to verify your address. This ensures your quotes and invoices can be sent from a confirmed account. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Your 14-Day Pro Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day trial of the Pro plan. This gives you full access to features including the marketplace, instant quote widget, P&L reports, and Design Studio. No credit card required.
After the trial, your account moves to the Hobby (free) plan. You can upgrade to Starter, Pro, or Scale at any time from your billing settings.
First Login & Dashboard
When you first log in, you'll see your dashboard with quick action buttons and the onboarding checklist in the sidebar. The checklist walks you through five data-driven steps:
- Add your first printer
- Add your first material
- Run a cost calculation
- Create your first quote
- Set up your business details in settings
Each step auto-completes as you work through the platform. The checklist stays visible in your sidebar for 14 days to help you get settled.
Navigation
The sidebar on the left is your main navigation. Items are grouped into sections: Sales & Clients, Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain. At the bottom you'll find Settings, Integrations, and the Roadmap.
