Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Printforge platform at crm.printforge.com.au (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Printforge (“we”, “us”, “our”). We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Printforge is a cloud-based business management platform designed for 3D print shops. The Service provides tools to calculate costs, manage clients, generate quotes and invoices, track inventory, schedule and manage print jobs, and run your operation.

We offer multiple subscription tiers (Hobby, Starter, Pro, and Scale) with varying features and usage limits. The Hobby tier is free forever. Paid tiers include a 14-day free trial. Details of what each tier includes are available on our pricing page.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and current information during registration
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We recommend enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account security. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid tier, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Free trial — paid tiers include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
  • Cancellation — you may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds — we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days.
  • Price changes — we may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified by email before any price change takes effect.

5. Data Ownership & Licensing

You retain full ownership of all data you input into the Service, including but not limited to client information, quotes, invoices, materials, job records, uploaded files (STL, G-code, images), and design files.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We will never sell, share, or use your data for purposes unrelated to operating the Service.

You can export your data at any time using the built-in export features (CSV, PDF, JSON) or the Master Backup tool. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse API endpoints

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour, with or without notice.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service offers optional integrations with third-party services including Xero, Shopify, Google Drive, and OneDrive. When you connect these integrations:

  • You authorise us to exchange data with the connected service as required for the integration to function
  • You are responsible for complying with the third party's terms of service
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services
  • You can disconnect any integration at any time from your settings

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, documentation, and branding, is owned by Printforge and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the Printforge name, logo, or trademarks without our written permission.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Printforge does not guarantee the accuracy of cost calculations — these are estimates based on the parameters you provide. You are responsible for verifying all quotes, invoices, and calculations before relying on them for business decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Printforge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $100, whichever is greater.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Printforge from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms, with reasonable notice where possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days to allow recovery, after which it is permanently deleted.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
