Connecting Your Shopify Store

Import Shopify orders as jobs, auto-create clients from customers, and keep your fulfilment in sync.

Shopifyorderssyncecommerce

The Shopify integration pulls your unfulfilled orders into Printforge as jobs, automatically creates client records from Shopify customers, and keeps fulfilment status in sync.

Connecting

Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect Shopify. Enter your Shopify store URL (e.g., my-store.myshopify.com). You'll be redirected to Shopify to authorise the connection. Once approved, your store is linked.

Importing Orders

Printforge syncs unfulfilled orders from your Shopify store. Each order becomes a job with:

  • Customer details auto-populated as a Printforge client
  • Order items listed as job line items
  • Shipping address and order notes included

Real-Time Sync

With webhooks configured, new Shopify orders are synced automatically as they come in. Alternatively, you can trigger a manual sync from the Integrations page.

Fulfilment

When you move a job to "Shipped" or "Complete" in Printforge, the fulfilment status can be updated in Shopify. This keeps both platforms in sync and ensures your customers receive shipping notifications.

Tips

  • Only unfulfilled orders are imported — already-shipped orders are skipped
  • Customer email addresses are matched to existing Printforge clients to avoid duplicates
  • Use Shopify tags to identify which orders need 3D printing vs other products
