Client Tags & Interaction Timeline
Organise clients with colour-coded tags and keep a timeline of every interaction.
Tags and timelines help you remember context about each client — who they are, what they need, and your history with them.
Tags
Tags are colour-coded labels you can assign to clients. They appear as chips on the client card and detail page. Common tag ideas:
- VIP — high-value repeat customers
- Wholesale — bulk buyers who get different pricing
- Etsy / Shopify — clients from specific sales channels
- Local — clients who pick up in person
- Slow payer — clients who need payment reminders
To add a tag, edit the client and type in the tag input. Existing tags autocomplete as you type, and new tags are created automatically. Tags get assigned a colour automatically.
Interaction Timeline
The interaction timeline on each client's page records every touchpoint. Add entries for:
- Note — general notes about the client or project
- Call — phone call summaries
- Email — important email exchanges
- Meeting — in-person or video meeting notes
Each entry is timestamped and shows who added it. This gives you a complete history of your relationship with each client — invaluable when they come back months later with a new project.
