Plan the physical result

A two-part mould is not suitable for every master. Undercuts can trap a rigid casting or prevent the halves from opening cleanly, and a poor parting line can cut across critical detail. Inspect the separation direction and modify the master or process when simple two-part demoulding is not realistic.

Clearance, vents and spout dimensions depend on the casting material and scale. Print a small test, check for leakage and trapped air, and verify that both mould and casting materials are appropriate for the temperatures, chemicals and end use involved.

Do I need an STL to start?

No. You can upload an STL, choose one of the simple product presets or enter dimensions for a primitive shape and adjust them before generating the mould.

What is included in the download?

The finished archive contains two STL files, one for each mould half, including the selected registration, pour and vent geometry.

Will it solve undercuts automatically?

No two-part workflow can make every undercut demouldable. Use the exploded preview to assess the opening direction and redesign the master or casting process where necessary.
